The Fresh Tracks sets are my favorite shows to produce. It’s exciting to hear new offerings from artists I’m familiar with, and others from unknown artists that blossom as delightful surprises. This week’s set features new chants from MC Yogi, David Newman, Sheela Bringi, Ragani, Manika Kaur, Irene Solea, Amy & the Ananda Bliss Tribe — and with delightful synchronicity Jai Uttal’s ‘Return to Shiva Station’ arrived just as I was putting the set together, and there was just the right spot for it.
